Pros
The developers whom, are still there, know how to properly maintain a 30+ year old project. Great code maintenance.
Cons
You will get paid in peanuts. Only a few developers have salaries that match or exceed the average. You will not make anything more than 50k unless the CEO finds that the product can not survive w/o you. Questionable ethics in regards to the return of certain employees with news-worthy skeletons in the closet.
