Pros

- Office perks: modern space, in-house chef, gym, Christmas party, camp, happy hour - Its easy to get promoted, especially if you work on the digital teams (Search, Social, Digital Planning, Programmatic). The fast pace on the job makes you learn quickly. - Major Canadian clients that look good on a resume - Good health insurance

Cons

- Extremely long hours and no work/life balance. No compensation or perk to balance the constant mandatory overtime. Your health and happiness will be at the expense of client demands and deadlines. You'll probably be working instead of having fun at camp or enjoying happy hour. - The salaries are really low and the raises here are a joke. Management likes to say that loyalty pays at this company, do not believe them. You are at a disadvantage being hired as a coordinator, you will never make the same salary from being promoted as external hires will by starting in higher positions. - Toxic culture, huge egos and a childish amount of gossip. Some teams are like high school. Some managers and directors don't seem to do any work here either. - Collaboration between teams is really poor. “One team” mindset only applies when it makes certain managers or teams look good. If you make a mistake, the one team mindset no longer applies and you will be thrown under the bus.

Pros

I worked at the company for 4 years and really loved the culture. The teams I worked with were great—everyone was supportive and always ready to help. There are fun events throughout the year, and attending the yearly CAMP where everyone meets in person was a highlight. There’s also clear opportunity for career growth.

Cons

Like at any agency, the work can be stressful at times and may require occasional overtime. It depends on which team you join and who your manager is. I’ve worked with some great managers, though there were also teams with higher turnover.
