8yThanks for the feedback -- and for your willingness to call out very clearly both what worked (learning and skill development) and what didn’t. It’s clear that, on balance, your experience wasn’t optimal.
Since I joined Medallia 1.5 years ago, I have been personally committed to creating an environment in which our sellers can have a reasonable and realistic expectation of success with strong execution and hard work. We’re making real headway. The proportion of our sellers that are hitting goal continues to increase and we have a broader and broader population of folks contributing to our growth. As an example, two-thirds of our ramped reps put points on the board in Q1. Our employee engagement (eNPS) across field sales have increased as we’ve made progress--we’ve seen a 20+ pt improvement over the past few quarters. We’re also focused on setting clear expectations with prospective hires about what’s involved with ramping at Medallia, and what it takes to be successful.
