I learned a lot about medical billing at this job in a variety of areas within the medical billing team. When there were more employees it was easy to get help and ask questions when needed to support each other.
Cons
High turnover rate. Many people either quit or got fired and some not even lasting a week. This added more work on the current employees as there weren’t enough people working to handle the high load. Denied or rejected claims would pile up and things would get missed since we needed approval from management to authorize certain things but it was very difficult to get answer back even with follow up emails.
