Pros
Depending on which team you land on you'll be trained efficiently for your role. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Most of management is helpful in supporting you and your team's needs and your career growth... as long as they like you enough.
Cons
If you're unable to play the game well right off the bat you won't be seen by the people who matter, your positive contributions will go unnoticed compared to any mistakes, and you won't ever be promoted. It's unfair that politics and favoritism has taken over for deciding who gets to move up while top performers suffer in the same role for years. People are leaving for a reason.
