Pros
Paid a bonus for taking a week off Remote work
Cons
If you think the "core values" of Maxwell mean anything (ROCKS - Rigor, Ownership, Curiosity, Kindness, Straight-up), then you are in for a full ride of disappointment. Corporate bureaucracy is just as prevalent here as any other standard 9-5 office job. There is nothing progressive about the leadership of Maxwell. Every month you get to waste an hour of your life sitting in a meeting while over-paid and inexperienced executives showing you a line on a graph and explaining how it's "good". Then, a week later you'll notice 10 random employees are now "deactivated". The company does not give out raises, but they are constantly hiring for $200k+ "Senior VP" positions. I'll be surprised if the company is still around in 5 years. Employees are treated like they don't matter, management is bloated, over paid, and no one even knows what half of them do. Old management was useless and got replaced by lifeless robots who just want you to work harder and faster. No one I knew was happy here and was always looking for a new job. Don't give this company an ounce of your time, they are disrespectful, deceiving, and undeserving of valuable employees.
