Pros
They do allow for time off if you require it. The patients are wonderful. They're facing adversity with strength and dignity.
Cons
They require that you have certain training eg BCLS; but they won't pay for it to be renewed. They will let you off if you require it, but they don't fill your spot so the patient does without a nurse that day. You can get all of the hours you want, like 40, 50, 60 hours per week.....who needs time off, sleep, clean house etc.... and the topper on this cake of misery is the pay is extremely substandard about 7 to 8 dollars below average and there are NO benefits!!! No sick days, paid vacation, 401K, NOTHING!!!!! They do offer you insurance, only they pay for none of it. During orientation and training you make minimum wage. Plus you don't receive a check AT ALL until all of your training is done and you've been checked off to work independently! They pay a $150.00 referal fee to you, but I don't dislike anyone that much! They're disorganized and they allow the untrained and un-informed to run the show.
