Pros

Being a tool distributor can be profitable. You have to have a One Way business atitude. You win ever time or the customers you deal with will eat you alive. You get to play with cool tools, and use them everyday. Your not stuck behind a desk. As mobile tool distributors go, it isstill better than Snap-on and MAC.

Cons

You do not own your franchise, Matco has their finger on everything you do. Your MDBS software tracks your business. They like to start new franchise and do not care if you fail. They just look for the next franchisee victim. One out four of my District Managers knew how to succcessfully run a Matco Tools truck. If you need support, it is not there

DEI policies promote DMs who are not ready and alienate those who are.
