Pros

The benefits were decent. There is always an unusual amount of snacks at the office, so you can eat all the feelings you have about working here. The trauma bond you will develop with your coworkers will be amazing.

Cons

This company is the worst place I have ever worked. The turnover is high for a reason. HR is there to protect the owners, not to help or protect employees. The president of management is incompetent and vindictive. No one can be a better property manager than her, and you won't last long if you are female and pretty. Her ego can't stand that most other women are more attractive than her. You will not get paid enough for what they expect, which includes responding immediately to calls and emails on your days off or after hours. The president will email or call you often after hours, remember that it takes her over 14 hours a day to do what any competent employee does in 8 hours. There are no exceptions for illness, death, or just needing a day off. Once you sell your soul to this devil, they will remind you that they own you 24/7.

Pros

- coworkers are great since you're all in it together (there are some truly great and talented people who aren't a part of the nepotism) - HR cares (but is bound by upper management)

Cons

- policies and benefits are bare minimum (if those policies even exist...) - management cares more about their bottom line than their employees' well-being or life. matchbox comes first before illness, babies, and death. - have to be family in order to have your voice heard. reviews and exit interviews fall flat because management isn't changing or penalized. - promotions and upward growth is not only improbable, it doesn't exist. - high turnover rate for years- too high to count
