Supportive environment with minimal distractions - Teacher Mason Classical Academy Employee Review

Mason Classical Academy is a supportive workplace that fosters a love for virtue in the students. The administration is helpful and supportive towards the mission of educating each child in the classical tradition. Salary is competitive and teachers are able to be the "sage on the stage." As a teacher, I feel supported to be able to do what I love- teach! Administration is wonderful and helpful. The students genuinely get excited about the content which is enriching and follows the wisdom passed down throughout the centuries. I genuinely feel like I am making a difference each day at MCA beacuse of the supportive environment which fosters a true love of learning in students. Additionally, the life of virtue is a strong emphasis to not only create educated students, but students instilled with a love for truth. If you love the classical tradition and instilling students in what is true, good, and beautiful, then I could not reccomend a better workplace.

This school really cares about the education of the students at this school. Their best interests are the cornerstone of all decisions made at MCA. The teachers I work with are dedicated, supportive, and great team players. The admin is very supportive to my needs, and backs teachers when it comes to discipline. Teachers getting to teach, lecture, and bring students along the educational journey here is great. The classical curriculum makes a difference, which is why this school is so highly rated in the county and state. The focus on virtue is in everything we do, which is amazing. I am new to the school this year, and was really welcomed and supported.
