Pros

They give you a company car and gas card. That’s it.

Cons

This is a new division from the Marvin few may know. This is the Replacement division where they install the Ultrex fiberglass window only. Plz know they have authorized dealers and installers who sell the same product. They don’t advertise. Except on Facebook. All the leads come from Facebook ads and they are not prequalified or even confirmed. So expect many cancel at the door, no shows, or unqualified leads. They don’t tell you the truth about work orders. The back office is full of incompetent people. They offer too many additional labor items without proper pricing. The management completely micro manages you. It’s a followup sale they tell you but in actuality they want it to be a one call close. You work 6 days a week. Can go days without appointments. They promise you 10-12 leads per week, my branch averaged 2-5 per week per design consultant, maybe. They constantly try and pacify you with empty promises of more advertising. And that more leads are coming. I was there for more than 6months, and it was a struggle.

Fantastic! Work-life balance was great.

Cons

Upper level management could be wishy-washy on decision making.

Pros

Good benefits, company values, and employees are considered when big decisions are made. There's opportunities for labor share and travel to other locations. It is family owned and while we don't see them often, they make you feel seen and that you matter. There's a nurse who is easy to talk to and actually cares. There have been a lot of changes in HR but its for the better. Lots of opportunities to learn new things and grow. We also got a new parking lot which was much needed since the plant has grown.

Cons

Mandatory overtime on Saturdays, but has gotten better. Not much visibility from the safety department on second and third shift unless its early afternoon on second shift - or - the last couple hours on third shift. There's four safety specialists here and they all mostly work during business hours, so unless you catch them before they leave its difficult to address anything. There's a safety committee but it can be difficult to get an actual person from the safety department because of their working hours.
