Pros
Some hardworking and competent people will work together to get things executed in completion. There are lots of real engineering problems and works to do and people really resolve the technical issues and get products executed. For the new comers to the industry or mid-career engineers who are eager to learn and execute projects to completion, this place has many opportunities for you to "work". There are various top notch people from different areas to assist you if you know what you are doing and are hardworking.
Cons
Things were not very transparent and some people were apparently taking advantage of that to realise their own vision to expand on their own needs and preferred circle of staff. Whether that's always for the betterness of the company is at times questionable. Some senior management were gradually changing the good culture of "hardwork pays" to "connection pays" and progressively displacing the people with their own favorites at the strategic fronts, while limiting the growth of the others. This is not very directly noticeable, but may not be always for the betterness of the company. There are many ways someone can be made fail or successful, which may not be directly dependent of the individuals competency. Excuses can always be made, and reasonings can always be beautified. If you were there for awhile, you can observe the strategy and see what has been going on. It was kind of sad that things had turned out this way. Other wise, with the improved campus and benefits and the family-like environment and many nice people, this could have been a great long term home for good engineers.
