Pros
The people are wonderful. There's a sense that we are all on the same team and people generally want to help each other. If you like going to the park, the pass is nice.
Cons
The pay is not good. I can't speak to higher level jobs, but if you are on the lower end of the spectrum (coordinators, executive assistants, analysts...) the pay is barely living wage in Los Angeles and there is very little room for upward growth. I was there for 7 years and I can count on one hand how many folks I saw get promoted without leaving and coming back as a re-hire. Also there is no support from upper management for remote work, even if what your team does can 100% be done from home without any negative impact to the business...which is disappointing post-covid.
