Too focused on money and not the customer - Anonymous employee Market Traders Institute Employee Review

What the MTI students/customers need/want isn't MTI's focus. They are more concerned with making money with new things and less on investing on improving what they have. Quality control is set aside as rushed projects to make money are thrown together. Leadership says quality is important but what they want in the time limits provided doesn't allow the teams to output appropriate quality that everyone is proud of. Sometimes leadership seems to get it and understand and are reasonable, but then 10 mins later they contradict themselves and things rarely improve. This exponentially gets worse when the company goes through financial strain. Leadership gets desperate and things become even more sloppy. Processes in all departments are different which makes it sometimes hard to collaborate on cross-dept projects.
