Pros
- Close knit group of friends. - Free snacks sometimes. - Modern office.
Cons
- Having a close knit group of friends puts a target on your back, they don't like work friendships. - Owner and managers are demeaning and degrading. - Owner and his loyal followers walk around checking up that you're working. - If you're not at director level, your opinion and ideas mean nothing - Managers have private meetings all day long and don't do any meaningful work - Long hours, lots of working late - If you take 1 minute extra on your lunch they'll know and mention it - No training or mentorship - BIG ONE: Don't expect to move up. What you're hired for is likely what you'll always be there. - No raises, even if you do get a promotion, they won't pay you more - Snacks are stale - So much paperwork. It takes an hour to set up a job that would take you 15 minutes to complete - Be prepared to be watched. Theres a reason they have a balcony overlooking the common area. - Theres a slide, but you have to cover your shoes before you go down it. Fun aspect removed.
