This specific hospital is located in a very expensive area so the drive can be quite long if you’re coming from LA, also parking and security for you and you’re car isn’t great... working nights there is a lot of homeless late at night. Also the hospital has great equipment but the building itself needs work and to be updated

This place is a complete show you don’t want tickets for. Moved across country for a staff position here. There is a ego-battle between the doctors, especially the community doctors, which the nurses have to deal with. Overnight, the hospital essentially does not run. The ICU is glorified med-surg. There’s no IR or Cath-lab although there will be in the new building they are creating for this area. The House Supervisors are the absolute worse people to crawl on the face of the earth. They are incredibly unprofessional and cruel. Onboarding is difficult too. There’s is an extreme lack of communication in every aspect of your job. You will get written up for everything you didn’t do, you did, or didn’t think to do. If you care about your career, go somewhere else.
