You are provided with a substantial amount of agency right from the outset. This enables you to explore your own ideas, exercise control, and take on responsibilities. Toxic work atmosphere where getting berated in front of your team is a regular occurrence. The CEO and guy leading on the quant team are both horrible, tone deaf, and abusive. I got penalised and let go for leaving at 5pm and this was cited as a reason for me not passing probation. Minimum feedback and growth opportunities. Doing your job is essentially a Darwinian experiment because you're left to figure things out on the spot. I have no idea how these guys haven't gone bust already due to their horrible and shady business practices.
