Pros

Nice location in Covent Garden, lunch & learns, established agency, wear what you like

Cons

Seriously high turnover of staff. The wrong people are in leadership/manager positions which means anyone they hire ends up miserable and leaves anyway, that’s if they don’t fire them on probation which is highly common. There’s more managers and directors than there are people to manage currently. The goal posts are always moving so you can’t trust a word they say. From the outside it looks decent (marketing smoke and mirrors) but unfortunately, once you’re in you’ll realise the company is a shambles and extremely toxic. It’s like being back at school, so much drama, gossip and two-facedness. They offer unlimited holiday as a ‘benefit’ which is misleading because if you were to leave the company and you’ve taken over the statutory minimum (about 20 days), then the difference is coming out of your pay.

Thank you for your recent review – we value constructive feedback we receive in order to continue to improve our business. Like many other organisations, the last 12 months have been hugely challenging, and unfortunately during this time we’ve had to make difficult decisions with the business interest at heart – which has meant losing staff that are underperforming, or not hitting initial expectations during probationary periods. Our SMT and leadership team are highly experienced with many having been in the business over 7+ years, and are well versed and capable of supporting the business and our people’s needs. We do not recognise the culture you describe – and are continuing to work hard to build an inclusive environment that lives true to our ‘authentically different’ mantra. We do offer and encourage our employees to take advantage of our unlimited holiday – however, we’ve always make it clear that if any employee leaves, then there is a pro-rota basis dependent upon number of days employed/taken, this is to protect the business. If you’d like to discuss any of my comments, then please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly. Best wishes, Joanne Lucy – Managing Director

Pros

None worth noting from my experience.

Cons

I worked offshore for this company and had an extremely negative experience. The environment felt exploitative, particularly toward offshore staff and young people trying to break into the industry. Call targets were completely unrealistic (often up to 200 calls per day), with constant pressure and little regard for quality, wellbeing, or sustainability. There were repeated promises around commission and progression that, in my experience, never materialised. Despite being encouraged to push harder and harder, the rewards simply weren’t there. Offshore teams were treated noticeably worse than onshore staff, with minimal support, poor communication, and a culture that felt dismissive and disrespectful. Management expectations were aggressive, and feedback was rarely constructive it was mostly about hitting numbers at any cost. Overall, I felt misled, undervalued, and poorly treated during my time here. I would strongly caution anyone, especially offshore candidates or those early in their career, to think very carefully before accepting a role.
