Consistent work schedule 8-4. No weekends. Government over site. Easy to transfer to different contract section or position in general. Well paying. Remote work possible.
Cons
Extremely slow pace. Little to no guidance for potential advancement. 2-3 hour long meetings daily, except Friday. Travel is required more than indicated. Transition from contractor to government employee is a political process and extremely difficult to achieve.
