If you're unfortunate enough to have a passive or overly micromanaging team lead, your career development and day-to-day work experience can be significantly impacted. This lack of consistency in leadership can make it challenging to thrive and become demotivating after a while. - This is not necessarily a con, but it is worth mentioning here: Company values and company's frequent emphasis on them.
