They are only interested in their own bottom line and explained nothing to me when I was brought in by their client for a contract but needed to be paid and actually employed via Magnit. They employed me as a W2 and I didn't realize it was an option to go in as a contract 1099 - which would have increase my net significantly, since I have an LLC set up and have been doing taxes as self employed for several years. They didn't let me know that I should be on benefits and sent me no paperwork to enroll. The amount of money they saved from me not collecting benefits is terrible along with what I was paying for healthcare etc.
I have to leave the client early because of the issues with Magnit even though they would like me to stay for an additional year.
