I cannot warn potential employees enough. Do not accept a job here. I had such a HORRIBLE experience working for this company. Glenn who is one of the founders would constantly talk negatively about me to other employees behind my back, extremely unprofessional. He also gave credit to other employees for work that I did. I showed up late once because of a motor cycle accident and he laid into me in front of everyone. He’s very self centered and truly one the rudest unprofessional people I’ve ever come across. I honestly cannot say one nice thing about him. He would lie to potential clients constantly just to get business. The whole company was shady. stay away!!

Pros

I am a former Software Developer, full-time employee worked for about a year and the company's CEO and the staff are supportive and there is a lot of flexibility in using cutting-edge technology for the projects. I enjoyed working there as it is also a great company to learn from. I actually think of re-joining the company everyday even though I am working somewhere else. Very nice people and it's like a family there.

Cons

Some people would say the location is not good but I like the location as well. It's not in between a crowded Downtown. It's quite there which is good.

Pros

Given the small company size, employees receive 1:1 mentorship from leadership and have direct input on product features. The environment lends itself to close friendships with colleagues, and easy collaboration with new and senior team members. There are ample opportunities to lead projects and create new initiatives if you have demonstrated your capacity to the executive team. The CEO and COO also generally have your back whenever issues with clients come up. Though employees are not always kept in the loop with specific sales activities and expansion, Glenn and Andrew are open and encouraging when customers have given them positive feedback about the team.

Cons

Leadership is slow and often unwilling to invest in its team and resources. Part of their ability to do this lies in their tendency to hire recent graduates, and/or professionals whose citizenship/visa requires that their working status to be at a certain level - in other words, employees who don't know any better or aren't likely to raise eyebrows. In particular, the topic of salary is incredibly sensitive. Since it's such a small company, the biggest point of influence obviously is the CEO (especially as the COO is out of the country). Glenn is generally a great and reasonable mentor, but he is also prone to making rash decisions regarding ideas, technologies, and customer feedback that he has no real knowledge about. His temper, which usually stems from his lack of understanding, often shows in inappropriate situations, and employees are left to just kind of deal with it. Another big source of slowness in productivity was that the team often had to repeat meetings because leadership either couldn't remember the original outcome, or they had never done their due diligence to read the materials and fully understand the topic in the first place. Perhaps correlated with this is the fact that a large percentage of our product enhancements were made as a reaction to client complaints/demands. When processes are that centralized around customer dissatisfaction, it trickles down to the team and also turns into ridiculous expectations from the offshore development team. As a company, we should have done much better competitor and customer research to figure out how we could stand out in the market, rather than only building things so we could close a single deal.
