Pros

New (since last year) Creative Director is really trying to improve office culture, team-building, mentoring Lots of different project types to work on Work/life balance most of the time Summer Fridays No bed bugs anymore... (since that was an issue before?) CEO is approachable (even by interns) - easygoing and cool

Cons

When understaffed - worked long, dedicated hours. Still felt unappreciated by upper management. Cliques (If your work is not up to par, they will bad-mouth you to each other. Witnessed it until I was a victim of it. Very unprofessional.) Almost all male Creative team No dedicated HR department.

Pros

At Magnani you work collaboratively with all levels within the organization and have are able to have a voice no matter what level employee you are. Being a small agency you are able to wear many hats, gain experience in a varieties of projects from traditional to web and everything else in between. They value continued learning through conferences and open knowledge sharing. The Partners of the company are very approachable, great resources and treat all employees with respect. As an account person, you must be willing to take on several clients and all of their projects that you oversee from start to finish. In most cases you may be the only person on the account, which allows you to own that client relationship, but also can lead to heavy work loads. If you work hard, have a passion for what you do and are a team player you will do well here.

Cons

Cons for some... - Due to the nature of the business and size of the company the work/life balance is not always the best. - Account structure is not robust, almost all Account people report to Director of Client Services, who is extremely busy overseeing all accounts - High expectations for new hire account people with onboarding process that is not a viewed as a priority, thus leading to a lot of new hire account people turnover
