Pros

The people doing the actual work here are some of the smartest, talented, most creative people I’ve ever worked with.

Cons

Fraudulent leadership who say one thing and do another. Not necessarily from the top, either—the horrific leadership sometimes trickles down to a departmental level. Love how they preach about how they want to increase diversity and made a whole Juneteenth meeting about it, but yet unjustifiably let go of talented POC and replace them with white men.

Pros

Outstanding Benefits: Madwell offers an incredible benefits package that truly shows they care about their employees’ well-being. From comprehensive health coverage to generous time-off policies, they ensure you have the resources to thrive both personally and professionally. Work-Life Balance: Unlike many other agencies, Madwell genuinely prioritizes work-life balance. There’s a healthy respect for personal time, which allows you to recharge and bring your best self to work. Energetic, Vibrant Office Environment: The office itself is such a creative and lively space—it’s a joy to come in every day. Whether it’s brainstorming sessions, team-building events, or just the everyday buzz of a passionate team, the energy is contagious. Amazing Co-Workers: The people at Madwell are some of the most talented, collaborative, and supportive individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. There’s a true sense of camaraderie and teamwork that makes every challenge feel like a shared opportunity.

Cons

Fast-Paced Environment: While the energy and passion are invigorating, the fast-paced nature of the work can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially during peak project times. It’s not uncommon to juggle multiple priorities at once. High Expectations: Madwell sets a high bar for quality and creativity, which is great for professional growth but can occasionally lead to pressure. This environment is best suited for individuals who thrive on challenges. Evolving Processes: As with many growing companies, certain processes and workflows are still evolving, which can sometimes create inefficiencies or confusion. Not for Everyone: The dynamic and vibrant culture may not appeal to those who prefer a more traditional or slower-paced workplace.
