      Pros

      Decent benefits. Civil service system offers some protections against vindictive electeds, of which there are a small but nasty number.

      Cons

      Terrible salaries, not at all competitive. Lower level positions are grade/step, but department head salaries are set by the mayor, and are highly political. Also no career ladders(too small).

      The job is very laid back and easy to do The hours are very flexible with school and sports practice

      Cons

      No chance to change departments unless you buddy up with management Theres is no formal instruction on how to complete any job Justin is moody and verbally abusive
