Pros
Great coworkers, office job, free lunch sometimes, flex scheduling, learn a lot about HR
Cons
The pay sucks for what you are expected to do (like really REALLY sucks). The benefits are expensive, and you can only get the discount with their company card which, for a company this size, is borderline unacceptable. The managers in my dept were unprofessional, catty, passive aggressive, cliquey, refused to hear feedback, and when the chips were down, they proved to be objectively terrible at their job. They would literally abandon you to the wolves and then hide in their office. They also painfully micromanaged everything we did. They treated us like children, but expected us to act like we were making more than minimum wage. There’s also nowhere to go. Its a dead end, professionally - they want to pretend that there are opportunities available but the reality is that your managers have a direct impact in your ability to move around in the company and if your work environment is as toxic as mine, theres no way they would let that happen. They will literally trap you to punish you instead of investing in your growth.
