Pros

Allison Wasz is one of the best leaders I've ever had, and she manages of team of capable people who go to bat for their clients and coworkers every single day. Allison makes sure to equip her employees with the best possible tools and encourages them to try new things and think outside the box. She is hugely motivated to make Macleod the best place it can be, and its inspiring to be around her.

Cons

It's a small company, so things change quickly and as an employee, you need to be adept and flexible. The company is still growing, so employees are expected to wear many hats.

Pros

I cannot say enough positive things about the people at Macleod & Co! Their energy and the strategy behind everything is very inspiring. There is definitely room to grow and take on a leadership role.

Cons

Things move quickly, this isn't necessarily a con, but if you're not moving you can get left behind.

Pros

I learned valuable lessons on how to deal with a highly toxic leader.

Cons

Most of the reviews covered essentials. If you insist on working here after taking this all in, realize when she's disparaging your coworkers one on one with you, that she's also doing this to you when you're not in the room. She believes this will create some sort of intimacy or something? Don't think for one second you're spared. Think very critically about her repeated experienced with "bad hires" and be very skeptical about any supposed turn around she's making. She cycles through fresh blood quickly for a reason. If you're in a situation dire enough where you need a paycheck and have a steely resistance to borderline personalities, you could make this work for you, but I wouldn't stay longer than a year. That's if she doesn't fire you first. Beyond the employee culture--it's unethical to sell the value of a work place culture when you cannot maintain any semblance of one yourself. If I were a potential client reading this reviews I'd run far away and look into hiring a real agency or a consultant who had actual experience with successfully leading teams.
