Pros
Minimal Oversite until things go wrong. Pay was decent for manager. They are open to negotiating so ask for money up front, they don't give raises.
Cons
Senior management ineffective, front line under paid, VP is just a millionaire's (Charle's) hatchet man. Charles literally told us a story about how he tricked his managers into building a bolder/ rock garden at his Michigan Lake front home for free. He also gets a kick of making Managers answer obscure trivia for $1 scratcher tickets. Which is humiliating. They don't pay their bonuses, moral is low, machinery is old and needs overhaul but they won't shut down to do it. Some talented employees are paid shockingly low. Mechanics pay is average < $33/hr and they don't have a lot of old school mechanics left. At that price they basically promote production operators to mechanic with no training and hope for the best. Charles owens all the buildings as they are falling apart, which arguably is a good scam. Also for the Frontline they have a 15 minute grace period in favor of the company, so they are stealing from their hourly employees. Think that is illegal. They are loosing volume soon in Hammond. They laid off leadership in Hammond about every year for the last 4 years so bear that in mind. They also fired they management staff in Portage. Take a look, they are hiring...
