Pros

Nice people to work with that are not in management

Cons

Don't apply to work here unless you like sales, even then, expect to have your every action scrutinised under the microscope. Micro managing managers, minimum wage, psychological bullying, no career path, no work/life balance - management expects you to work 10 hours days and still ask why you aren't doing more No company culture

MGM Wireless Response
10y
You response is totally false and misleading. No one regularly works longer that 10 hours, employees receive above industry standard wages and bonuses and shares/options. Three employees (not founders) have made enough money to pay of their home mortgages, HR reviews are conducted every 6 months with in-depth career planning, training, professional development, annual free luxury company-wide trips to Golf Coast, Sydney, New Zealand and more. Every Friday afternoon informal one hour wind down (on company time) for drinks and food (all provided by the company), ongoing staff raining by external professional trainers. Feedback is a good thing - as long as its honest.

Pros

Friendly and supportive workplace culture as highlighted in a previous review, the management at MGM are wonderful people and are supportive of the growth, learning, and development of their employees. Ideas for improvement and suggestions for change are taken on board and acted upon with an open mind which facilitates and motivates employees to challenge the old ways, resulting in positive change. Star Award System allows for the acknowledgement of exceptional work performed by employees that may otherwise go unnoticed, with the Awards being given by fellow employees, it also facilitates good working/personal relationships. Senior Employees are friendly and approachable people who you can rely on.

Cons

At times it can get a bit slow, particularly when you're inexperienced in the work (resulting in limited number of cases you can work on) and everyone else is busy with their own work. That being said, during the early stages, this time should be spent trying to acquire new skills and knowledge that may assist in your role, sooner or later you will be experienced enough to work on a wide variety of issues; and if the senior members are anything to go by, you'll have more than enough on your plate by that point.
