Pros

The dress code is just black, we can take samples home, the staff are friendly, the support that you get given is like a family, and staff discount is amazing! My other favourite part about working at Lush is that creativity is praised, and the opportunities for improvement are vast. It isn't hard selling. Lush take a more friendly approach, and to try and build a rapport with a customer, before advising them on products that might help them. The main focus is on helping the customer, rather than getting them to buy the most expensive thing in store. I also love that the rota's are only a week in advance- it means that my work hours can be planned a lot easier around my other commitments.

Cons

It is minimum wage, and that I am only a temporary worker. It can get quite frustrating/upsetting when customers are rude to you, when you were trying to be polite, and see if they needed any help.

Pros

Discounts, we got 50% off of most items

Cons

Unhygienic, stressful, money hungry, fear monger. Unprofessional managers both as an employee and customer. Never experienced such low life conditions, manager brought in animal multiple times in store, and made staff clean its pee. Customers were floored, inexcusable and HR is unresponsive. The bathroom is disgusting, and inaccessible. I cannot imagine any one with a physical disability being able to use the restroom. It was so difficult to suck in your stomach, then trip on box after box. They BLOCK the fridge and made us put our food in our tiny lockers. Manager is too comfortable with the amount of time spent within the company to ever fear facing any consequences or repercussions. Even fired staff in the past for contacting HR for help.
