Pros
- Luno offers tremendous growth and development to employees. If you are a self-starter that likes to get stuff done and to develop, you will never run out of opportunities - I find the leaders to be fair and utterly committed to building a fantastic company with great employees - The team is mind-blowing - everyone is smart, passionate and excited to be there - With offices in 8 different locations, there's no shortage of diversity and different cultures - Flexi-work hours allows you to set your own times - We get amazing lunch Monday-Thursdays, and every now and again they throw in a braai - Special stuff gets celebrated (we eat too much cake) and when the company achieves a milestone all team members are paid (money) bonuses - Family responsibility leave can also be used towards pet emergencies/illness - Maternity / Paternity leave that is above governmental requirements - Annually there's a Summit week where everyone gets together in Cape Town and we have a week of team sessions, events, talks and an awesome party - The swag is off the hook. You can have an entire closet of Luno kit and other gear from backpacks to charging banks - The company is constantly changing, so if something isn't working, they tend to fix/change it - Everyone (regardless of their role) gets new MacBook's when joining, as well as extra screens and other IT stuff
Cons
- No medical aid/ pension fund contribution (although salaries are higher to make up for it) - Depending on your role, sometimes having the work/life balance is a bit hard to maintain
