Pros

The CEO is active in the company; decisions are made with the whole team in mind. Being new to the industry I enjoy that I have co-workers who are willing to teach me about it and not get frustrated with the questions. I don't mind sitting in traffic to get to work as I know that my days won't be bogged down with work place drama, everyone is a professional. Overall the benefits I have here, are much better than what I had working in the health care industry. Between company sponsored fun trips and other incentives to get the job done throughout the year I am glad I made the career leap.

Cons

Drive into work (Austin Traffic is getting worst)..

Pros

I’m currently working on my second project with Luna Data, and I truly enjoy my experience here. I initially left but returned because the work culture is outstanding. I can always rely on my recruiter and the administration team for support whenever I need assistance.

Cons

As a consultant, my income relies on my work; if I don't work, I don't get paid. This means I do not have the benefits of paid vacation or sick leave, which is outlined in my contract.

Pros

Remote work flexibility, strong growth potential, and a genuinely positive culture outside of the HR department. Employees in other teams were extremely friendly, patient, and generous with their time and training support. I sincerely wish I had been able to collaborate more closely with them.

Cons

The HR department environment (specifically the tenured employees) often felt unwelcoming and unsupportive with little guidance or structured training provided. At times, interactions came across as passive-aggressive, and it was easy to feel like a burden when asking questions. Many tasks lacked depth or meaningful impact, and relationships within the team felt superficial. I was repeatedly instructed to publicly state “I have no updates” during daily morning meetings with 20+ colleagues, which felt unnecessary, uncomfortable, and disempowering. The culture tended to take minor matters very seriously, which added unnecessary stress.
