Pros
Lume is backed by Harry's, so the class-action lawsuits against Lume may not *immediately* sink the company. Dr. Klingman's idea was a great one at inception, but execution and bad business choices have failed the brand. By taking employment at Lume, you gain crucial insight- how to run a company into the ground (or how to avoid it after you leave).
Cons
-miserable culture: as fake as they come with the worst office politics ever experienced. -benefits: "Unlimited PTO" at Lume means you should be at work unless you're dead. External providers are difficult to utilize, reducing the benefits to lackluster junk. -poor management: these individuals were promoted based on personal connections (dating, long-time friends, family, etc) and the majority don't have the skills required to perform their roles. -liars: HR, decision-makers, the whole lot. Saying a staff isn't being impacted by financial struggles after removing a bonus structure is a bold and well-documented lie. -poor $ management: they regularly post jobs and then remove the listing when they realize they can't afford top talent for the role. YET, a "major celebrity" is being booked for the company off-site.
