Pros
There is a on site gym, and free lunches every month.
Cons
environment
There is no team atmosphere, and it's just you against everyone else. Everyone walks on egg shells which recreates an environment where there are lots of painful reoccurring mistakes. 'One step forward, two steps back'. Don't speak out, or you'll get a pink slip. Just nod and agree and hopefully you won't get axed or stabbed in the back.
workforce -
There seems to be two classes of employees: the 10 plus years, and the 1-3 years employees. The former are the yes people, and chase their own tails (to the point of mental fragility and depressive episodes), while the latter are the rest of the capable people that either end up getting fed up and quit or questions management and get fired (25% just last year). . And in the end, there is few senior staff doing the vast majority of the work while the newbies struggle to learn the ropes, and have to teach and fend for themselves. It's heartbreaking.
management - HR
Managers are fighting for resources, and try to limit their 'risks' of saying 'yes' to too many things. This infighting was probably prompted many senior / or management level people were leaving, especially given it is a small company. There is no loyalty to the company nor to the employees. I've read the glassdoor reviews, and regret not listening to the warnings.
moral and ethics
I have seen some morally deprived activities at this company. Management and owners are just heartless and morally bankrupted. Everything is about money and nothing else matters. While it's shocking, I can't say I was surprised with half of the things I've seen. It makes you question humanity and where we are headed. Especially if the corrupt business leaders conduct themselves in this reprehensible manner.
recommendation -
if you want to grow, and learn...it's a hard PASS! While it's ideal to learn how an efficient organization should run. The opposite can be argued. I saw what NOT to do. The dysfunction, lack of communication, and disorganization led to poor outcomes, reoccurring mistakes (that were easily avoidable), and frustration. I had these painful lessons and experiences, don't make them yours. Go gamble elsewhere.
