At Luce Line Brewing, the owners will tell you anything you want to hear to get you in the door. Once you start, the expectations will change week after week and move away from what was originally agreed upon during the interview process. You'll constantly find ownership pivot to hot trendy ideas or but refuse to fund any campaign and expect you to create and draw business out of thin air. And when business does slow, it's your fault. Ownership tends to prey on customers and con them to get more money out of them for ticketed events or "community events" where they use a good cause to pump up profits and say a portion will be donated but is usually the proceeds received for an hour which usually a slow period in the day is chosen so they can donate less while customers are le to believe they're making a difference. The money that was promised in any job ad does not align with the current business coming through the brewery. There is a lot of employee turnover due to terrible management, lack of benefits, lack of work-life balance, and so much more. Ownership at Luce Line wants to line their pockets as much as they can before anything else, and they are not interested in recognizing or rewarding quality employees. You'll be responsible expenses and if you already agreed and purchased something for the brewery expect them to fight back on paying you back. No matter what position you're applying for, there are better places to work at than Luce Line Brewing
