Pros

• Dedicated to Veterans Only – You work exclusively with veteran populations, allowing for focused, meaningful care without the distractions of mixed patient panels. This creates a highly mission‑driven clinical environment where providers develop expertise in veteran‑specific conditions and build stronger continuity in the evaluation process. • Incentive Pay Opportunities – An incentive structure that rewards performance, efficiency, and adherence to operational metrics with predictable monthly incentive pay. This model promotes autonomy and productivity, giving providers control over their earnings. What you put in is what you get out. • No Weekends – A predictable Monday–Friday schedule supports work‑life balance, consistency, and personal stability. This structure helps prevent burnout and makes it easier for providers to manage family schedules and personal commitments. • No On‑Call Duties – With no after‑hours, overnight, or emergent callback responsibilities, providers benefit from uninterrupted personal time and reduced stress, allowing for a healthier work/life separation. • No Treatment Plans Required – The workflow is streamlined to focus on evaluations and documentation without the burden of long‑term treatment planning. This allows providers to use their clinical expertise efficiently without the ongoing management responsibilities required in traditional healthcare roles. • Mission‑Driven Work – Contributing to the health and wellbeing of veterans is both personally and professionally fulfilling. Providers have the opportunity to support a population that served the nation, creating a strong sense of purpose and pride in their daily work. • Predictable Scope and Structure – The role offers a consistent, well‑defined scope of practice with established expectations, making day‑to‑day responsibilities clear and reducing variability and administrative frustration.

Cons

• Poor Recruitment Communication and Transparency – Initial and ongoing communication from recruiters may be inconsistent, delayed, or lacking in clarity, making onboarding and contract details less transparent than desired. • Limited Benefits for Healthcare Providers – Benefit packages for clinicians/healthcare providers are comparatively minimal, especially relative to other healthcare employers. • High Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, and Vision Premiums – Health insurance options can be costly, reducing take‑home pay and offsetting some of the value of incentive‑based compensation structures. • No 401(k) Match – Retirement benefits are limited, with no employer matching contributions, which can impact long‑term financial planning. • Minimal PTO and Sick Leave – Paid time off is limited, and sick leave allowances are limited, leaving providers with less flexibility for illness, personal needs, or work‑life balance. • Lack of CME Support – No provided continuing medical education funds or reimbursement for required credits, compelling clinicians to pay out‑of‑pocket to maintain licensure. • No Support for Provider Relicensure – State licensure renewals, certifications, and related professional costs are not reimbursed, creating additional personal financial expense for maintaining credentials. • Incentive‑Based Structure May Reduce Benefit Value – The pay model focuses heavily on incentives, which often results in reduced employer‑paid benefits and higher employee‑borne costs.

Pros

Having been with Loyal Source for nearly 11 years, I can confidently say this company provides real opportunity for growth and long-term career development. I started as a government healthcare recruiter and was able to evolve into sales, account management, and now manage a sales team. There’s a clear path for anyone willing to put in the work and take ownership of their career. Loyal Source has also played a major role in my personal growth. While working here, I earned my bachelor’s degree and hit several real-life milestones along the way. The opportunities provided have allowed me to travel and experience things I never thought would be possible, while still building a strong, sustainable career. The company does a great job of recognizing and rewarding performance. Earlier this year, I was honored to receive the Strategic Sales Award, which reflects the leadership team’s commitment to acknowledging impact and results. One of the biggest differentiators is the autonomy. You’re trusted to run your team, build something of your own, and think strategically. That level of ownership pushes you to grow both professionally and personally. The culture is more than just a company, it really does feel like a family. People genuinely support each other, and long-term relationships are built across teams. If you’re driven and looking for a place where you can grow, be challenged, and create real opportunity for yourself, Loyal Source gives you that platform. Excited to see what we accomplish in the years ahead!

Cons

There’s a bit of a learning curve early on as you get familiar with the company’s strategic approach and different business lines. With time and consistency, it all starts to click and sets you up well for long-term success.

Pros

They have remote and hybrid jobs. Most of the employees are very competent and supportive of each other.

Cons

This is a terrible company. They treat psychologists like children and consider us a disposable commodity.. the turnover in psychologists is about 40% over a 6 month period. The "incentive system" is a joke. The initial training is terrible. Mgt. changes rules and procedures almost weekly. They refuse to provide a phone number for HR. Management style is authoritarian "Mt way or the highway". They discourage any complaints. They discourage us from talking to each other outside of the company channels where they can monitor what is said. Many of us do not trust what mgt says because their actions don't match their words and they are punitive toward any criticism. They hand down edicts without any awareness of the effects on those that actually do the work. PTO and leave policies are very restrictive. Many of us have to work way more than 40 hours/ week just to keep up. The base pay is terrible and there is pressure to do more without more money. The ads and recruiters lie about the pay and benefits and I dont know if that is intentional or not. You can only contact HR by email and it takes days to get a response. Managers term is "I'll look into that and get back to you" but they never do so. Get the picture? Don't belie fee what they tell you and don't work here. Oh and BTW, the positive reviews here are most likely written by corporate staff to counteract honest reviews like this.

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We recognize that workplace experiences may vary and appreciate the opportunity to understand different perspectives. As a regulated organization, certain operational expectations, clinical programs, and internal processes evolve over time to remain compliant and effective. These changes reflect our commitment to refining policies and procedures, and we strive to communicate updates as clearly and proactively as possible. We value authentic feedback and do not condone unauthentic reviews, nor do we discourage employees from raising concerns or impose consequences for doing so.
