Pros

Remote work, great people (though most have left or are leaving)

Cons

Working for Loopio is akin to being in a toxic relationship. Alot of gaslighting, false promises followed by cycles where you see glimmers of hope and wish it could be what it was in the beginning. Your friends and family are begging you to get out because they see the life being drained from you, but in good faith you keep trying. I agree with others that the C Suite has lost the plot. Each exec is only batting for themselves. The CEO is looking for anyone to blame but the product itself, which is obviously dying as it tries to compete with multi-billion dollar LLMs that are advancing hourly. The death spin started in 2023 when the CEO tried to double down on thought leadership that "AI isn't everything", but with light speed advancements in this space, no one is willing to pay for point solutions that can be largely replaced with a generalist AI tool and often produce superior results. The growth curve pre-GenAI has been in a tail spin nose dive and there is no way to save the trajectory. If you work here and are unhappy, get out. You are on a sinking ship, and in moments like this your health and happiness will absolutely not be prioritized by senior executives regardless of what culture initiatives are presented at Spark. The blaming, the gaslighting, the push for more with less will just get worse with each quarterly decline.

Pros

Work is interesting and challenging. Co-workers are talented and supportive. There is pressure from leadership to deliver on deadlines, but nothing unusual. Fully remote is a big plus.

Cons

The workload is heavy and can be overwhelming.

Pros

good PTO and work from home

Cons

Another layoff. The C suite is struggling and is reacting without understanding the real problems. The Chief Product Officer is not able to produce a clear and successful product vision. A lot of hard work, but no results and the company is doomed.
