Pros

The team are great people

Cons

The management is horrific and often there is little to no communication in regards to what is actually happening around the attraction. At one point during a busy summer season a ticket that directly impacted my team was launched without our knowledge or our consultation which lead to my team being rediculously overworked. Customers would often scream and shout at staff with no consequences from senior management, and they'd often just appease the guests and make them look stupid, despite the fact that you were following the rules that had very clearly been set out in training. On top of this the hospitality senior managers rarely if ever took sexism seriously. I was the only female tl at the time and had several of the women on the team come to me to complain about another tl in regards to sexism, and when I bought these concerns to the senior management they said that 'theyre just being dramatic' and 'they don't actually know what sexism looks like'. For reference, the two senior managers for the department were men. I would not recommend working here to anyone, unless you want to be underpaid, overworked and treated like dirt.

Pros

Massive and high volume of customer focused role....

Cons

“I worked as a temporary team member at the London Eye Gift Shop during the summer. The role itself was enjoyable — I gained valuable customer service experience in a fast-paced tourist environment, and my colleagues were supportive. However, I found that the management style in the retail department was inconsistent and at times discouraging. Some managers lacked transparency, favouritism and professionalism in their communication, which impacted morale. Overall, this was a useful short-term experience to build skills, but I believe a more supportive management approach would make the workplace much stronger for future staff.

Good, flexible hours. Good merlin benefits

Cons

Clique-like culture, people get bullied and not everyone gets treated equally by management.
