Pros

Decent pay and benefits Name recognition for your resume Cool technology Working with some of the brightest people out there There really are some amazing people working at Logitech in Toronto (Canada). If you can ignore most of the senior management, it would be a great place to work.

Cons

Management disconnected from reality All R & D is tied to products with ship dates already set. Nobody is willing to take a chance on researching something that may delay that. Lack of connection between performance and recognition / respect / pay No direction or feedback from management when projects begin turns into obsessive micromanagement when projects near the finish line. Overall the management strategy seems to be: 1- delay making any decisions, and finally abdicate all responsibility when the project risks being cancelled. 2- swoop in months later and complain that the project lacks proper direction. 3 - micromanage until the project is actually in jeopardy. 4 - blame your team because after all, you've abidcated all of your responsibilites.

Pros

Large organization with diverse team

Cons

It is common to see employees who have been with the company for at least two decades mess up almost all the projects they handle, then come up with excuses, desperately wants attention ,good at speak ill of others, and expect to get paid for doing little or nothing while pointing fingers at others, who are expected to take on even more work. As a result, other employees often have to clean up the mess, increasing their workload, and this has become normalized. Especially the Asia office
