Pros

Good culture Friendly people State of the art product The idea of this company is very revolutionary, and unheard of to say the least. But seemingly everything comes with a price.

Cons

No one is being heard, and nothing is being changed. All of the negative reviews prior to this one have been true, and has possibly gotten worse. It’s nice to see management’s desire to give lengthy responses, but they haven’t been acted upon at all. They make themselves available for coffee, yet when invites are sent no responses are given, and if so, then they recommend you to their subordinates, or they apologize for not being able to meet and don’t offer another make up time. A recent decision to change a part of compensation was made mid-quarter, and the sales team that is affected is unable to speak to the appropriate parties to find out why the ill-made decision was enacted. This makes employees very unmotivated to come into work, especially when you are changing their entire flow of work. With a plethora of many other things, this company is for sure on a downhill slope it seems. A review prior spoke about the inability to work remote, and it still holds to be true. When speaking to personal managers, they say that the CEO is a “butt in the seats” type of guy, which is ironic given that there are remote employees and some of which are still being hired. There is little to no transparency here, and you are made to feel just as small as your position is because management tells you nothing you need to know. Weekly Leadership lean-ins are another way to dance around needed information.

Dear LogicMonitor Employee, Thanks for your review. We're glad that you appreciate the company culture - something we spend a lot of time on. Creating and sustaining a culture where everyone feels valued and heard is our priority. We agree that the people that work here are incredibly friendly, and that our product stands alone. First and foremost, if you feel you are not able to get information about any changes relative to your compensation, we would like to hear from you on why you felt you are unable to speak to the appropriate parties. Simply put, you should be able to. We looked at the compensation communication issue that you raised, and apologize that you were informed of any change mid-quarter, and that you felt you were not able to understand why. We are working directly with sales leadership and will ensure that you receive clarity on this as soon as possible. We appreciate you sharing your concerns regarding transparency and communication. Our monthly Leadership Lean-ins were created as a result of team members' feedback in wanting more insight and information sharing company-wide. By giving people exposure to our financial and sales performance, as well as meaningful company updates, and open Q&A, we do feel we have been working towards providing more transparency. However, if you feel like there are more issues that we should address - we encourage you to use the Q&A session to dive in. In fact, we now have live anonymous questions on our meeting application that allows people to vote up priority questions while the Q&A is going on. When we say that we are always open to a chat, we do mean it. We are serious about always giving every team member the ability to be heard, and with us specifically. However sometimes running a business becomes quite busy, and travel schedules get in the way of us being able to meet when we wish we could. As a result, we may sometimes delegate to members on our team to make sure you are able to talk in real-time. If you feel that is not an adequate forum, or that you were not able to resolve or share your issues in a meaningful way, we do hope that you reach out again so that we can schedule a time to meet when we are able. Regarding our work from home policy, you referenced our responses in other reviews - so we won't repeat ourselves here. :) However, we will say that the CEO and management do support remote working depending on department and need for oversight, and if you've spoken to your manager and still want more guidance, please let the People Operations team, or us, know. Thank you again for your review - we truly value your feedback and hope that you believe us when we say we take this very seriously and are constantly making changes and evaluating ways to improve. We are nothing without our amazing people - and appreciate you caring enough to leave us this review. Our goal - as we say in orientation - is to make this the best place you have ever worked. Hopefully we can help in making that a reality! Best regards, Steve Francis, Founder & Chief Evangelist and Emily Long, VP People Operations
