Pros

Cons
1) The pay is not quite as high as expected (especially in more senior roles) 2) Business development isn't for everybody and it's hard to hit all objectives without doing it (bonus and salary increase can depend on it). However it is expected if you join a consultancy! 3) Some people can feel slightly detached from the company if they are on long term projects away from their base office.
