Pros

Loggerhead's management is refreshingly transparent about their company vision and each employee's role in the company's future. Their efforts to make employees feel valued are visible and they feel sincere. The CEO holds employee meetings where employees are encouraged to ask him questions directly. All management members are approachable. The hardworking "start-up" energy is my favorite part of working here. Everyone is focused on producing quality work and process improvement. Mistakes are quickly addressed without wasting time on blaming and shaming. I appreciate the refreshingly positive work culture at Loggerhead and I look forward to the company's growth.

Cons

I have not come across any cons.

Pros

Hybrid environment, need to go 2 days a week.

Cons

Working here has been quite challenging due to the lack of technical expertise. The Application Architect, for instance, doesn't seem to grasp the differences between unit tests, functional tests, integration tests, or testing frameworks. I've never seen him conduct a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using Datadog, The Production Owner/IT Director comes from a customer care background and isn't familiar with RCAs or Scrum methodologies. He often rely on guidance from the Vice President, who tends to approach situations more like a salesperson than a tech leader. The environment seems to favor those who talk without a clear understanding, rather than those who are genuinely working and contributing. If you're a professional looking to grow in your career, this might not be the right fit. The company culture feels more hierarchical, with a "master and slave" mentality. Even if the job market is tough, I'd recommend thinking twice before joining. It's important to be in a place that supports your professional growth and values your contributions.
