Pros
Amazing potential for this technology. Really amazing experience for iPhones.
Cons
I am sad to write this review of Lofelt. Sad because I have been part of the struggle to grow this company, celebrated every step of our growth and suffered every setback with the Lofelt family. Like every family, some things are good and some not so good. But this family is so chaotic now that it is time to speak up and bring things to the attention of the management in a way that hopefully makes him notice. The stress is simply too much now. We understand the need to constantly adjust our strategy to move away from failed efforts, but guys, to be honest, the way you are doing it, the cost that is extracted from your employees is too much. Sitting around an art camp and pretending everything is going to be alright - it's not enough. The CEO is not around during important times, the CTO is not very present (it is understandable), the VP of engineering is more interested in Twitter than contributing to real work. So many ego clashes between engineers and teams. Problems with and between the POs. Bizdev guys who no one understands what they do. The worst is the hypocracy! So much talk all the time on Slack and Twitter about how inclusive the company is, how progressive you are, how aware you are of white privilege, but the first people that you got rid of or whose salary you cut the most when Corona happened were all minorities and women. At the same time, you hired the VP of engineering's wife! I guess I am lucky as a "white privileged guy" to still have a job in this company so I can do so much work for so little pay. Of course, yes, I know, it's the life in a startup. I'm getting ready to leave, guys. I hope at least now that you see what you are doing to this company that you are building.
