Pros
Fast-paced environment Potential to go far if they focused on managing Human Resources and stopped asking their staff to determine what the liability is to break labor laws.
Cons
Lack of a dedicated HR department; a recruiter with no HR or payroll knowledge was assigned as the HR point of contact. Constant requests to violate California pay laws, including meal penalties and waiting time penalties. Hostile work environment with poor management communication. I was on multiple occasions verbally attacked by a specific manager and there were no repercussions for his behavior. Discovered my job listing online while still employed; management tried to gaslight me about it despite clear evidence. Required to make unauthorized adjustments to employee timecards.
