      Great Creative Studio in BK - Photo Retoucher Local Color Employee Review

      Pros

      The team at Local Color is one of a kind. They create a collaborative community collaborative with the support of great producers and management and have a roster of some very talented photographers and retouchers. It's a very cozy studio and legitimately a fun crew. It's usually always busy but the crew at LC do a good job of managing everyones time efficiently as well as the projects so it doesnt feel too overbearing. They also do a great job of communicating needs to their retouchers. It's definitely one of the most unique studios I've worked at and looking forward to continuing working with them.

      Cons

      The busier it gets, I see space becoming more and more of an issue, perhaps expanding the space would be a good measure.

      From my first day on the job, I could tell that the people, the atmosphere, and the variety of work involved are what made this studio a place that I wanted be a part of. Everyone working at the studio is easy-going and friendly, which is in large part what lends to such a comfortable work environment. Whether you want to join in on conversation with your fellow employees or put your headphones on and focus in on the task at hand, you'll find yourself in the right environment. Through the spectrum of work that is provided, asking questions is encouraged and there are many opportunities to learn and grow on a personal and professional level. Overall, with these factors in mind, I've had an exceptional experience working at Local Color NY. It's one that I truly feel lucky to have found.
