Pros
Good learning opportunities with plenty of responsibility and interesting work. Full of genuinely nice people who are very good at the soft stuff (work-life balance etc). Lloyds TSB looks very long term at employees careers - very much encouraged to move round functions every 3-4 years to improve skills set. Also keeps the job interesting
Cons
Appear to pay less than other clearing banks for similar roles. Unlikely to be a larger player than it currently is. Anything IT related is useless. Fair share of people who have worked for the bank for their whole career and are looking for a quite life to see out the last few years to retirement.
