Family-run company feels that way -- all staff, including management, have an open-door policy and are willing to share their expertise/input even with the most junior staff/agents. The familial feel of company lunches, etc. contributes strongly to morale and helps keep turnover low (many employees/agents have been around for decades).
The top agents, branch managers, and some of the executives have all accomplished tremendous sales success during their own careers and are willing to share their considerable knowledge of the industry and tactics. It is a fantastic place to learn not only real estate marketing/sales tactics, but also sound business fundamentals for the professional services industry.
Cons
Head office staff are treated to minimal perks; opportunity for advancement can often feel limited. This is a company that focuses the vast majority of its growth resources on realtors, rather than staff.
