Pros

Nice and respectful employers and co-workers. Very flexible work schedule. Positive work environment.

Cons

Pay isn’t the best but tips do get included. Sometimes work is really slow, sometimes quite hectic. Hard to get more hours, which can be inconsistent week to week.

Pros

This is a science lab for kids. It is recommended that you have a solid understanding of chemistry, biology, and physics to be more comfortable with explaining concepts to kids (and sometimes parents). I think it's a good place to get hands-on teaching experience in case you aspire to be an educator later on. Also, the environment is incredibly fast paced, which would allow you to get used to working under pressure and learn how to manage your time more efficiently. Very flexible and accommodating to your personal schedule, so this job is mostly ideal for students.

Cons

If you're looking for relevant lab experience to build your resume, this is a hit or miss depending on your career goals. Lab management involves a lot of cleaning, dishwashing, organizing, and supply stocking that seem to never end and usually require you to stay overtime. You'll also be expected to work with dissection specimens, often without any instruction or guidance. Schedules are often overbooked while having only 1 or 2 lab assistants on board. Even when there are 3+ people, they're still busy with multiple separate things instead of being able to assist each other due to the overbooking. The starting pay is minimum wage. You get raises but very inconsistently. You also receive tips from hosting birthday parties, but it seems to be distributed based on how many hours you work per week (more hours, more tips) instead of the whether you've been involved in the party or not. So, you may work only 2 days a week and host 3-4 parties per day but end up receiving less tips than someone that works more hours but 0 parties.
