Pros
good pay and benefits and employee owned
Cons
where to start.... if you aren't related to someone or have been working there since you graduated high school...you are on the outside from day one. I mention high school because college grads are in short supply. Ever been yelled at in front of your colleagues by your supervisor? I have never even heard of such things in a professional office environment but it happened regularly. Maybe it was because I was the only person with a college degree, maybe it was that I was the only person that had worked at more than one place since high school, maybe it was because I wasn't related to someone in management....I'm not sure but being yelled at and berated regularly was apparently mandatory. For some reason my manager was afraid of the other department managers...not sure what to say about that but it was strange. Was told on day one "to always cover your rear, make sure the blame is on someone else"...what? Ever heard of ownership? Constant back stabbing and usually for no good reason at all....not that there is ever a good reason. Tried to help out an associate at another location...you know, take care of internal customer....got yelled at for it. Strange cult like culture....was warned by friends before I interviewed and accepted the job...should have listened. Worst employment I have ever had...
