Pros

The people are amazing and helpful

Cons

The transparency? Nonexistent. They do tell you that you’ll be outside for the majority of your shift, and that the hours will be long, that’s not a surprise. It was also weird that my trainer was told not to answer my questions because “I’m not supposed to know that yet”. The surprise is that they promise you a safety net while training but then upon getting the check, it’s not even half of what was promised. Another surprise is being told you’re not trying hard enough to beg for money, or as they say “Take donations”. Also, fun fact, they make you beg for your paycheck. You get paid based on how much money you can get people to “donate” to a nonprofit that has rarely ever been seen in any official capacity. You get paid 30 cents on the dollar. But magically the boss can turn that into 40 or 50. I highly doubt the other 70 goes to the nonprofit. This is a pyramid scheme, albeit with a legal workaround. Also, all of the reviews that are 5 stars are from current employees in leadership. I wonder if it’s a requirement to move up 🤔

Pros

They do a good job at staying positive and creating an environment that promotes professional and personal growth.

Cons

It exploits the community and raising funds by treating all interactions as less than supporting a cause and more like selling and hassling willing patrons for more just because its how we make quota and literally get paid. The conference that is promoted as a great networking opportunity is so exclusive that there is no external information available in form of research and I found that this exact business model is spread across the country verbatim down to the same structures. They dangle being a CEO in your face however its not really a CEO its more of a director of a new franchised location with the big man at the top earning all the profit.
